Turn Your Google Business Profile Into a Website
If your Google Business Profile is the only place your business exists online, you have already done most of the work. Your name, address, phone number, opening hours and reviews are written and kept up to date. This guide turns that listing into a real website, and then into something that takes bookings and answers questions.
Copy your Google listing link
Open Google Maps, search for your business, and use Share → Copy link. A short link like https://maps.app.goo.gl/... is fine, and so is the long google.com/maps/place/... URL.
You are not connecting an account. FloatMessage reads the same public details any visitor browsing Google can see, so there is nothing to authorise and no access to your Google login.
Paste it into the AI landing page builder
Go to AI Landing Pages and paste the link into the Google Business Profile field. Your business name, address, phone, opening hours and website are pulled in and used to fill the page's contact details.
Add a sentence or two of your own about what makes you different. Google tells us the facts, but not your voice.
Publish your page
Pick a URL and publish. Your page goes live with HTTPS and is yours to edit at any time from the dashboard. This is now your website: share it, put it on your Google listing as your website link, and hand it out on cards.
Turn on the tools that fit your business
Back on your dashboard, the Get started card now suggests tools based on what your Google listing says about you. A salon that takes reservations gets booking; a cafe gets an opening hours popup; a business with a strong rating gets social proof.
- Booking - your Google opening hours arrive already filled in
- Social proof - show your star rating and review count
- Chat with AI auto-reply - answers hours and location questions around the clock
- Contact form - enquiries land in one inbox
There is no snippet to paste. Because FloatMessage hosts your page, the widget is already on it - anything you switch on appears there within moments.
Check the details we could not guess
Two things are worth a look before you call it done. Confirm the timezone on your booking widget - we estimate it from your location, and daylight saving means it is worth a glance. And read the generated copy: the facts come from Google, but the wording is written for you and may want a personal edit.
What if my Google details change?
Your page does not silently follow your listing. Edit it directly from the dashboard whenever something changes, or paste your listing link again to pull fresh details for a new page.
